Recreational activities
One of the great pleasures of chartering is the
chance to spend time doing water sports.
Whilst you may do this to your heart’s content,
utmost care must be taken regarding your
own safety and that of others.
One special
warninggetting too close to the coast

especially to crowded beaches, or to other
yachts, could be extremely dangerous as well as
annoying to others.
Many countries have introduced strict laws
regulating water sports.
Diving also requires great caution as its beauty
conceals extreme danger. Many yachts therefore
impose strict rules, including Sekhmet, and
require that those that want to go diving are in possession of a diving certificate. You also need to take out a personal insurance policy for this type of activity as charter hire does not normally require this type of insurance.

Activities not permitted on board
For obvious safety reasons, and mainly in order to prevent fires, no smoking is allowed on board Sekhmet. However, with the captain’s permission you may be allowed to smoke, on the main deck only, but you must be very careful not to start a fire.  Weapons and drugs are obviously illegal on board, and if any

should be found then the rental contract will immediately terminate with no right to any refund and the relevant authorities will be informed.
