The crew
The success of a cruise on a crewed
yacht largely depends upon the skill
and professionalism of the crew;
a perfect knowledge of the yacht and
its handling ability combined with a lot
of experience.

The crew working for Monsieur Du Bois
possess all these and thus allow guests to
enjoy their holiday on board to the full.
Technical knowledge is fundamental but not
enough to make a good crew member.
Outstanding human qualities, interpersonal skills, and constant attention to the guests’ needs must also be part of the curriculum of the ideal crew.

The careful selection of crew members for Sekhmet assures our guests that the crew of this yacht, which has been on the rental market since 1980, have a wealth of documented experience at sea.
Having worked on both merchant navy and passenger ships, the crew are professionally qualified and will do their utmost to make your cruise both a safe and happy one.

Life on board
Like any other special holiday, life on board a yacht has its own rhythm and a routine that is quite different from normal daily life on land. With this in mind, you are reminded that:

Clothing

When chartering a yacht of the size of the Gib’Sea 522 Master S, then no special clothing will be needed on board but it is useful to pack oilskins and deck shoes besides your personal belongings. It is not necessary to limit the amount of clothing, although it is advisable to pack it in soft bags rather than rigid suitcases, so that they can easily be stored in the cabins.
